Jökulsárlón-Glacial Lagoon is one of Iceland´s natural wonders. You will get to enjoy an amphibian boat ride in this beautiful lagoon with different shapes of icebergs floating in it. During the excursion, you will get to taste the 1000 years old ice from the lagoon and you may even see some seals, in the deepest lake in Iceland and at the same time getting a view of the highest peak in Iceland, Hvannadalshnúkur. The amphibian excursion takes about 30 minutes. The boat ride is available only in the summer months. In the winter months, we will stroll around the lake to enjoy it´s beautiful scenery.
Situated at the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, it developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the ocean.
